City of Kwinana awards contract to QTM

QTM Traffic Management (QTM) has been awarded the City of Kwinana’s traffic management contract for the next three years.

Kwinana is the third Western Australian council to award its traffic management contract to QTM in the last two months, following the announcements of the Shire of Augusta Margaret River and Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale.

Associate Director of QTM, Todd Bendall, said the City of Kwinana contract had strategic benefits for QTM’s staff.

“About 10% of QTM’s workforce reside in the City of Kwinana and approximately 38% live in abutting councils,” he said.

“By being able to offer work closer to home for our employees, we hope to offer a better work life balance.”

“It’s our commitment to be an employer of choice for those in the traffic management industry.”

The City of Kwinana is the ninth largest Perth metropolitan local government by square kilometres and has 287 kilometres of road network that QTM will assist to maintain in the coming three years.
